Foreign exchange, without the middleman
The real rate is the one banks quote each other. The rate you get is worse — then a transfer fee lands on top of it. You lose twice, and only one of those ever shows on the receipt. ZenFX hands the rate back to you: name your price, and it fills when someone takes the other side.
How it works
You have pounds and need francs. Across town, someone has francs and needs pounds. The old system puts a dealer between you and charges you both. ZenFX just introduces you.
Name the amount and the rate you'll accept. Take the live one now, or set your price and wait for it. Nobody sets it for you.
ZenFX finds someone wanting the opposite trade and pairs you at the mid-market rate. No dealer, no spread.
Your new currency lands on a card. Tap and pay wherever you're going, or hold it until you travel.
The film
Press play, then pick a length. Same story, cut for the time you have.
No dealer in the middle taking a cut. You both get the rate the banks quote each other.
Name the rate you'll accept, weeks or months out. It fills when someone takes the other side. If nobody does, nothing happens and your money stays put.
Every currency sits with a licensed Electronic Money Institution — a regulated firm whose job is holding customer funds. Never with ZenFX.
Independent systems all have to agree before a trade is final. Once they do, the record can't be quietly edited later — not by anyone, including us.
Every trade accounted for, gains calculated, formatted to the international reporting standard.

What you get
Name the rate you'll accept instead of taking whatever you're handed. It fills when someone takes the other side — and if nobody does, your money stays put.
Going away in spring? Set your price now and leave it. Your travel money can be ready months before you've packed.
Banks and remittance firms take the spread and then charge a transfer fee on top. Matching directly removes the spread — so there's no dealer margin buried in your rate.
Every currency you hold gets its own card. Tap and pay abroad with what you already exchanged — no airport queue, no counting notes.
Each currency sits with a licensed Electronic Money Institution — a regulated firm whose job is holding customer funds. Never with ZenFX.
Independent systems must agree before a trade is final. Once they do the record is fixed, and nobody can quietly edit it afterwards.
What you gave, what you got, the rate and the moment — sealed, and verifiable by anyone you need to show.
Gains calculated on your chosen basis and formatted to the international standard, across seven jurisdictions.
Using the app
Six tabs along the bottom: Dashboard, Trade, Wallet, Chat, More and Settings. Here's what lives where.
One tile per currency, and a Deposit button that follows you down the screen.
You'll see a tile for each of the seven currencies you can hold, with your balance on each.
Or use the Deposit button in the bottom corner if you'd rather pick the currency afterwards.
The Deposit Funds sheet asks for the currency and amount. Confirm and it lands in your balance immediately.
You don't top up per trade. Balances adjust themselves as trades settle — what you gave comes off, what you got goes on.

The live order book, your open orders, and everything you've traded before.
The order book above shows what other people are currently offering, so you can see where the market sits before you name a price.
Pick the currency and amount you want to hand over. If your balance is short, the form links you straight back to Wallet to top up.
Pick the currency and the amount you expect. Those two numbers together are your rate — this is the moment you set it, not a bank.
Partial or All or Nothing. A summary screen shows the full order before anything is submitted.
It sits as Pending until somebody takes the other side. Nothing has moved yet, and you can cancel it any time.
When it matches it becomes Consented. Tap Settle to make it final — you'll get a receipt, and a card for the currency you just bought.

Chosen per order. Neither costs more than the other — they just fail differently.
Fills progressively across lots. If only part of your order can be matched right now, that part goes through and the remainder stays in the book as a new pending order under the same order ID — so your fill percentage keeps counting up.
Choose this when getting filled matters more than getting filled all at once.Fills completely in a single lot, or not at all. If nobody can take the whole amount, it simply stays pending — you'll never end up half-converted.
Choose this when a half-filled position is no use to you — paying a fixed bill abroad, say.Any order still showing Pending can be cancelled from the Trade tab. Once a trade reaches Final it can't be reversed — that's the point of it.

Every settled trade, with what you gave, what you got, the rate, the moment it settled, and its seal. Your proof that the trade happened on the terms you agreed.
Your gains and losses, calculated on a FIFO, LIFO or HIFO basis — switch between them and the numbers recalculate.
Your activity formatted to the international reporting standard, plus a combined summary you can hand to an accountant.
The card issued for each currency you hold, with its number and network. One appears automatically each time you settle into a new currency.
Total portfolio value, every balance, and your most recent settlements — the thirty-second version of everything above.

A real person, in the app. No ticket number, no waiting on hold.
The Chat tab opens a thread with the ZenFX team. Ask anything — replies come back into the same conversation, and it stays there so you can look back at what was said.
Settings → Help & Support has written answers to the common questions, for when you'd rather not ask.
Settings lets you turn alerts on or off for three moments: when an order enters the book, when a trade settles, and when an order is cancelled or expires.

Try it
ZenFX is in testing. Grab a build, place an order, watch it match and settle, and see the receipt land. Setup takes about two minutes.
Install.Install again.TestFlight app from the App Store.Accept, then Install. This is a test build. Trade with it freely — orders, matching, settlement and receipts all work end to end, and no real money moves. Balances and cards are for testing only.
